Now in its fourth year of contributing to the Southampton Mela Festival, Loveart saw the transformation of Hoglands Park into a dazzling spectacle of colour, music and performance art on July 19th.

Hosted by Art Asia, it was a free celebration of musical styles, exhilarating dance acts and mouth watering food, offering a wide range of family activities celebrating south Asian culture.

Thousands of people attended the extravaganza to experience music from Indian, classical, folk, world, Qawwali, Asian fusion and bhangra artists.

Teachers from around Hampshire visit Southampton City Art Gallery for a training day.

Inspiring ideas for kinesthetic and auditory implementation of creative lessons in school. The day includes tips on how to inspire children, feel confident in talking about art and how best to integrate Art in cross curricular activities.

Feeling confident when teaching art is achieved when you have a go!
You don't have to be awesome at drawing to be 'good' at art.
